  Yes hence my confusion. A reply to a jaiku is an inherent "@", yet people still stick in an @. I reckon we should rid Jaiku of this twitter @ wart :)

  @sconsult I prefer Jaiku for usability and interface, but I prefer twitter for sheer traffic. I love Jaiku. I put up with twitter. Does that make sense?

  Hmm yeah after playing with twitku, twitterfeed is a bit nicer and makes it easier to wean off twitter :)

  And I'd describe the userbase as relatively small, and possibly more person-to-person than "broadcasty" as Twitter is.

  Jaiku is just as "immediate" as Twitter, but the user base is a bit different at the moment, so we don't seem to get the same news flow.
